Kanye West has a lot to say about his wife, Kim Kardashian!
The rapper appears in the new issue of GQ magazine, where he opens up about his destination wedding, his relationship with the paparazzi and confesses his love for the reality star.
West—who tied the knot with the 33-year-old in Italy earlier this year—said that the big day was a bit of a disaster.
When the interviewer read a passage from page six of the rapper about the couple’s wedding—which claimed Kanye had a meltdown and sawed the bar in half before the pair said “I do” – the “Gold Digger” crooner said that never happened.
“For the person that wrote that, were they involved with anything last year that was as culturally significant as the Yeezus tour or that album? They didn’t even talk there about the photographs, or the dress, or Andrea Bocelli singing, or the marble tables. They’re like: ‘It’s a gold toilet.’ No. The bathrooms—that usually would be a porta-potty—were wrapped in a fabric that was neutral to match the fort. The bar was terrible, and the wedding planner didn’t approve it with me. I was having issues with this wedding planner the entire time on approvals, and I get there and they threw some weird plastic bar there. So the same materials that were used to cover the bathroom, we said, ‘Let’s just use that, because this is all we have to make the bar look better.’ Which it did, in the end. And anyone knows that you cannot pick up tools yourself, because of—what are those rules about the workers?” the singer explains.
West said that because of the labour unions overseas, he was not allowed to personally work on the property before the big day. The report also said Kanye gave a 45-minute toast to himself—which he did not deny.
“And what I talked about in it was the idea of celebrity, and celebrities being treated like blacks were in the ’60s, having no rights, and the fact that people can slander your name. I said that in the toast. And I had to say this in a position where I, from the art world, am marrying Kim. And how we’re going to fight to raise the respect level for celebrities so that my daughter can live a more normal life. She didn’t choose to be a celebrity. But she is. So I’m going to fight to make sure she has a better life,” he explained.

Shakira, Wyclef To Close FIFA World Cup

Popular Colombian musician Shakira will make her third consecutive appearance at the FIFA World Cup when she performs during the closing ceremony of the 2014 tournament at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, July 13.

This time it will not be Waka Waka-This Time for Africa, which she performed with vivacity and virtuosity four years ago in South Africa, but it will be La La La, the Brazil 2014 Signature tune.

The Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker and wife of Spain and Barcelona football star, Gérard Pique, said in a statement in Brazil that she was anxiously waiting for the day of the closing ceremony.

"I can't wait to perform this song as the fans have displayed an overwhelming support for it", the 37-year-old iconic artiste said.

Sharkira's explanation as to why she continued or loved to perform at big football festivals, such as the World Cup, must be revealing: "l have a close relationship with football for obvious reasons and understand what the World Cup means to so many people, including myself".

It will be her third World Cup performance on the trot after the first show at Germany 2006.

However, South Africa 2010 was what must have brought her into world football prominence yet with her enchanting and exhilarating performance of the Waka Waka beat, which is even still reverberating and being played at the football stadiums across Brazil.

But Shakira will not be the only one to perform at the July 13 ceremony to bring the curtains down on the Brazil tournament as other artistes of foreign and local repute will also be in attendance.

Organising Committee of the Brazil 2014 tournament sources also indicate that celebrities, Carlos Santana and Wyclef Jean, accompanied by national star, Alexandre Pires, will be performing the official 2014 World Cup Anthem, Dar Um Jeito.

Other performers will include students, who will do the famous 'samba dances', while a local star, Ivete Sangalo, is expected to thrill the crowd with a series of popular Brazilian lyrics.

R&B singer R. Kelly’s daughter, Jaya, has bravely came out on social media to tell the world she’s now a transgender boy. Jaya — who now goes by the name Jay — has received support from his mom, Drea Kelly, but his dad’s response has been unsupportive.

R. Kelly, 37, isn’t taking the news well that his daughter is now a transgender boy. After the R&B singer had a less-than-thrilling public response to his 13-year-old daughter now going by the name Jay and identifying as a boy, Jay is boldly speaking up about his dad’s lack of support.

When asked if his mom, Drea Kelly, refers to him as a boy, Jay responded with “Yep.” Jay also said he ignores questions about his famous father “most of the time” and doesn’t think of himself as a celebrity. 

Considering Jay is only 13, under a major microscope AND receiving little support from his dad, the teen is handling all of this pressure and attention SO well. We’re proud of Jay for being so open, honest and brave!

Beyoncé And Jay Z On Tour

Well, it took them long enough.

Nearly 12 years after releasing debut collaboration ‘03 Bonnie and Clyde, music’s unstoppable couple, Beyoncé and Jay Z, are embarking on their first joint tour, hitting 16 cities this summer and launching tonight in Miami.

It’s the perfect move for the dynamic duo, who are behind two of last year’s most-talked-about albums: Beyoncé’s celebrated, self-titled surprise release (2 million copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan), and Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, given away to 1 million Samsung Galaxy users (2.2 million copies, 1 million of them purchased by Samsung).

And with one of spring’s biggest songs in duet Drunk in Love and stories about them and young daughter Blue Ivy flooding the media, America’s love affair with these prominent parents doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

“People are definitely infatuated with them as a power couple,” says Chuck Creekmur, CEO of AllHipHop.com. “A lot of people look at them as a royal family of sorts … a fairy tale coming true.”

But will their On the Run tour be a storybook success? Reports surfaced last week that the stadium show wasn’t selling well. Live Nation has debunked those rumors, telling Billboard the tour has sold $86 million in tickets.

“If ticket sales don’t reach expectations, it will be viewed as negative, but they played it safe here,” says Yahoo Music senior editor Billy Johnson Jr. “There aren’t a million dates for this stretch,” but they could just be doing a “soft run to see how it goes, and then gauge their next steps. It’s strategic and smart.”

Those are two adjectives regularly applied to the business-savvy pair, whose innovative album releases were hailed as game-changers in the music industry. But others have faltered in trying to replicate their success: Skrillex and Kid Cudi released unannounced albums this spring with middling results (Skrillex’s Recess sold 111,000 copies; Cudi’s Satellite Flight sold 108,000).

“There aren’t many artists (whose album) you’re just going to spend $16 on,” says Vulture senior editor Amanda Dobbins. “It takes a huge amount of celebrity and success to pull that off.”

Pop divas Rihanna and Madonna would have the wattage, but they “pride themselves on being original and trend-setters, so it wouldn’t look good to follow Beyoncé,” Creekmur says.

“They always set the bar really high,” he says. “Even with streaming and pirated music more prevalent than ever, they’ve still been able to move units, keep people excited about their music and keep that megastar status.

“There’s only a few that can do it like Jay Z and Beyoncé.”

T.I. Responds To Azealia Banks' Comments: 'I Will End You'

 

T.I. and Azealia Banks are feuding on social media after the raptress made not-so-nice comments about his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. On Tuesday, June 17, the "Whatever You Like" rapper ended up writing an angry message on Instagram, telling Banks to stop harassing his family or "I will end you."

The two rap stars' feud started on June 16 when Banks tweeted some comments about Tiny. "U want no mediocre but... have you seen your wife?" she wrote, referring to T.I.'s collaboration with Iggy Azalea "No Mediocore". The post was later deleted.

"The n**ga shouting bad b**ches this bad b**ches that, is almost always at home with some busted bumpkin," read another post on Banks' account. "But your wife has meth face... And your wife can't read."

T.I. then responded to the tweet on Instagram. He posted a photo of Banks from her "Atlantis" video and called her a string of harsh words. "If u speak ill of my family again... I WILL END YOU!!!!!! #NoBuuullls**t people fall down stairs daily.... U better watch yo step,u ugly-a** Gremlin-baby," he added.

Banks threatened to file a lawsuit in response to the Tuesday Instagram message. Banks, who previously had a feud with T.I. over the Australian raptress, wrote, "Guess who's about to get sued for threatening me! N**gas Love Jail."

North West Gets First Birthday Diamonds!

Forget books or teddy bears – for baby North West only diamonds will do.

And as Kim Kardashian, 33, and Kanye West, 37, stepped out with their daughter on her first birthday, they revealed shiny new stones in her ears.

The studs were a new addition for the one-year-old – they were not seen in pictures from her parents’ wedding last month.

The earrings were revealed as Kim and Kanye took her to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan in honour of her special day.

While piercing children’s ears is a controversial choice, in some cultures it is seen as a traditional step for young girls.

Within the Armenian culture, which is Kim’s heritage, it is not usually a typical practice.

Little North was wearing a white dress, coordinating with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

Showing off her svelte post-baby body, the reality TV star wore a tight off-white shirt and high-waisted olive green pencil skirt with lace-up booties.

Kim matched her daughter by wearing big diamond stud earrings.

And she made a point of wearing her gold ‘north’ necklace in honour of the special day.

Kanye coordinated with the pair, wearing a white T-shirt with his ripped denim trousers and tennis shoes.

With North being the couple’s first and only child, Sunday was bound to be one for the books.

Kim even took to Instagram to gush about the magical day.

Along with a picture of Kanye and Nori sleeping, the star said: ‘This is what life is about! Our baby girl turned 1 today! We played so hard they passed out while we were watching the game! Justin Bieber's Song 'Baby' Helped To Save A Toddler’s Life

In a moving essay published by New York magazine, writer Kera Bolonik shared the story of how a pop anthem by Justin Bieber came in handy when her two-year-old son, Theo, was ill.

The little boy had been suffering from seizures and was put on a medication that made him so nauseous that his parents weren't able to get him to eat enough to stay nourished. The solution? Bieber.

"We were especially frustrated because when his caretaker, Erin, arrived at 9 a.m., she could get him to eat scrambled eggs with cheese, yogurt, cereal—a meal fit for a kid twice his age and size. Why? And why was he suddenly chanting 'Bee-bee, bay-bee' every five minutes?" Bolonik wrote. "We eventually discovered she’d bribe him by playing a music video on our iPad: Justin Bieber’s 'Baby.' The song came to be Theo’s life raft, as well as our measuring stick for how long it would take to feed him. 

"I’d sworn that Bieber would never be allowed in our household, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and the track was playing so frequently it became like white noise: Theo would demand the video repeatedly until his meal — or any task we needed him to endure — was done. It was an easy request to oblige.

"Theo's condition raged on and he was admitted to the paediatric intensive care unit in September 2013. When doctor's still couldn't figure out what was causing the seizures, they put him through a gruelling series of tests to properly diagnose and treat him. Again, Justin's hit song came in to play."

Eventually, doctors were able to identify little Theo's illness, and he recovered from Bieber fever. Now the toddler has a new favourite song: Pharrell's "Happy." "It's been more than six months since Theo has requested 'Beebee Baby,'" Bolonik said.

At this time, neither Bieber nor Pharrell have reacted to Bolonik's moving story.

Kanye West Drops Jay Z's Name From Lyrics After Wedding Snub

 

Kris Jenner claims that nobody was bothered about Beyonce and Jay Z snubbing Kimye's wedding last month, but it seems Kanye West may still be holding a grudge, as it is claimed the rapper left out Jay Z's name from his lyrics while performing at the X Games last weekend.

The 'New Slaves' rapper headlined the event held in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, where he performed his biggest hits and it's reported that he used the set as an opportunity to hint that he's feuding with his BFF Jay Z, with speculation that it's over the rapper failing to attend Kanye's wedding to Kim Kardashian last month.

 

According to Consequence of Sound, Kanye usually raps on 'Cold': “Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team,” but during the X Games performance, he reportedly omitted Jay Z's name out completely leaving the beat to continue.

He is also said to have done the same on the line in 'Blood On The Leaves': “I don't give a damn if you used to talk to Jay Z.”

Perhaps to reiterate that he didn't just forget the lyrics, Kanye is said to have changed the next line on the same track from: “He ain’t with you, he with Beyoncé, you need to stop actin’ lazy,” to simply: “You need to stop actin' crazy,” alluding that he may also be angry with Beyonce for missing the nuptials.

As if that wasn't enough, Kanye reportedly skipped Jay Z's name on the track 'Touch The Sky.'

Addressing the fact that Beyonce and Jay Z chose not to fly to Italy to watch Kimye wed last month, Kanye's mother-in-law claimed nobody was bothered that the music power couple weren't in attendance.

“If you had been there you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone’s mind,” Kris Jenner told Australia's KIIS 106.5 FM.

“There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought."

Even though Chris Brown was sentenced to 131 days in Jail on 9^th May, 2014, the music star is reported to have been released last night, after spending a total of 108 days in jail.

In fact, Chris Brown was sentenced to a year in jail but he got credit for the 116 days he spent in rehab and the 59 days in spent in jail…

This is just the end of one part of the problem since Chris Brown has his assault case still pending, trial is expected to start in the new few months.
